State Senator Tonya Schuitmaker’s voting record on conservation issues is bad policy for both the environment and Michigan business according to Jim Walters, her opponent in the November election.
Schuitmaker, R-Lawton, earned a 0% grade for her voting record on the 2013-2014 Michigan Environmental Scorecard issued recently by the Michigan League of Conservation Voters.
Promising an energetic and issues-driven campaign, State Senate candidate Jim Walters, of Lawton, on Saturday (April 26) spoke to groups of Democratic supporters in Allegan and Van Buren counties in kick-off events for his run for public office.
