Welcome to the online headquarters for my campaign for North Carolina Senate. As your State Senator, I promise to focus my energy on ensuring good paying jobs come to Hoke and Robeson Counties. Additionally, it is vitally important to make sure our children have access to affordable health care and that the public schools they attend are equipping them with the tools necessary to compete in the growing global economy. I hope you will use this website to get involved with my campaign for the NC Senate, because together, we can move NC forward.

The North Carolina General Assembly has recently passed new state Senate maps that will affect the 2012 elections. Although these maps have yet to be approved at the Federal level, I think it is important to inform you of the changes being made to your representation. I currently represent the citizens for Hoke and Robeson Counties and under the new maps, I will represent all the citizens of Columbus and Robeson Counties. Although Hoke County has been drawn into another district, I will always consider these citizens a part of the district I represent. The people of this area know that we are bound by culture, history and economics and we should continue to work together to keep our state moving forward.
The citizens of Columbus County should feel free to reach out to me for assistance in any way. I am proud to have the opportunity to work in and represent Columbus County.
